Understanding the Jewish Community: Laying the Groundwork for Stronger Connection was part of the JCRC's Lunch & Learn series that brought together Arizona elected officials' staff and community leaders to discuss Arizona-Israel relations, democracy, and combating prejudice.
The Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC) of Greater Phoenix hosted Understanding the Jewish Community: Laying the Groundwork for Stronger Connection, a Lunch & Learn program designed for the staff of Arizona’s elected officials. The event provided an opportunity to foster meaningful dialogue, strengthen relationships, and increase understanding of issues impacting the Jewish community locally and globally.
The program featured a distinguished panel of speakers, including Danny Seiden, President & CEO of the Arizona Chamber of Commerce, discussing Arizona-Israel trade and investment; Stephen Richer, J.D., presenting on the importance of strengthening democracy; and Steven Neuberg, Ph.D., Foundation Professor at Arizona State University and Director of Psych for Life, sharing insights on the science of prejudice.
