We have been made aware of political street signs implying AZ State Senator Christine Marsh is against Holocaust education by concerned members of the Jewish community. In reality, Senator Marsh voted against a single flawed bill HB2779 that was not supported by leading Arizona Jewish Holocaust education organizations, and the JCRC.
Senator Marsh has a record of supporting Holocaust education, and supported the 2021 House Bill 2241 which ensures Holocaust education is taught in Arizona public schools. During this most recent legislative session Senator Marsh voted for bills supporting the new Holocaust Education Center in Phoenix, as well as the Holocaust Study Committee.
We urge voters to consider Senator Marsh’s full record on this issue.
