Supporting Those at Sydney’s Bondi Beach Hanukkah Celebration
The brazen and violent attack upon those celebrating the Festival of Hanukkah at Bondi Beach in Australia is a crime against everyone who strives to live in peace and freedom. The JCRC of Greater Phoenix supports the safety and wellbeing of all citizens. We mourn for the lives lost and forever changed by this crime. Undaunted, we will continue to balance the scales, diminishing xenophobia by creating pathways toward understanding. The lights of the Festival of Hanukkah will continue to illuminate the resilience of the Jewish people and all that is good in our world. We extend blessings of comfort to our extended family in Australia. May the memories of those who were murdered forever be a blessing.
